Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness announced their shock separation in September after 27 years of marriage.

And now it has emerged that the former couple don't follow each other on Instagram.

Jackman, 55, appears to have unfollowed Deborra-Lee, 67, on Instagram while she does not follow his account either.

This move suggests neither party wants to see what the other is up to as they both try to move on with their lives.

Jackman has recently shared several happy snaps to Instagram capturing him going on long strolls through New York City while Furness has set her profile to private.

This means Hugh will no longer be able to see any content Furness posts to her page.

The couple recently began the 'tricky' process of divvying up the $290million empire they built.

Sporting a massive property portfolio and other assets between them, the Wolverine star and his wife intend to split everything equally, reported US Weekly in October.

'Their lives were so interwoven, so it's an extremely tricky and gut-wrenching process dividing everything up and figuring out who gets what in terms of assets and finances,' a source told the publication.

And it seems things may be growing colder between the pair as they have apparently unfollowed each other on social media

'The [divorce] filing will be formalised in due course, but before that happens, their aim is to come to an agreement. They're determined to [do this] as amicably as possible.'

In 2010, Men's Health estimated Hugh's net worth was around $257million, much of which stems from his work with the blockbuster Marvel Comic franchise.

The pair began their mammoth estate in the late '90s and have since acquired a collection of luxury homes in Australia and the U.S.

Meanwhile, Hugh recently sparked speculation he may have found love again after the actor shared several photos of himself taking a stroll at New York's Central Park on his Instagram page.

The Prisoners star was bombarded with questions about who took the pictures as he posed up in front of trees and a lake.

'Good morning from magical, sunny, crispy Central Park!' Hugh wrote in the caption in his characteristically upbeat mood.

Despite the innocent caption, the actor's Instagram followers were quick infer he was enjoying a new romance.

Hugh has been at the centre of mixed reports concerning his romantic life, with some saying he trying to move on while others say he is nursing his broken heart.

New Idea magazine claimed last month that finding love remained top of the agenda for the Hollywood star.

'Finding love again is one of his biggest priorities,' an 'insider' is said to have told the Australian publication.
