An amber alert was issued for a 10-month-old baby in Idaho who was allegedly abducted by a murder suspect - who is also his father.

Zeke Gregory Best is thought to have been abducted by his father Jeremy Albert Best, 48, after being last seen on Thursday night at around 11:40 pm.

The baby's father is thought to be 'heavily armed and dangerous'.

The amber alert was issued at 4:30 am this morning for the abduction that took place in Victor, Idaho. 

Best is the suspect in the death of Kali Jean Randell, 38, who was found unresponsive in her home in the Idaho town.

The baby's father is thought to be 'heavily armed and dangerous'

Officers revealed the call about Randell's state at around 11:39 pm on Thursday - just before Best was last seen, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. 

Best was last seen driving a Chevy Tahoe 1995 in black with an Idaho license plate 1T39349.

Police warned to not approach the 'heavily armed' suspect.
