Jenna Bush Hager has revealed her husband Henry mistakenly thought she was going to perform her new Christmas song live on television for the first time with her bra on full display.
The Today show host, 42, delighted audiences across the country on Wednesday morning when she and her co-star Hoda Kotb, 59, sang their holiday single, Carefree Christmas, at Rockefeller Plaza.
Getting well and truly into the festive party spirit, both Jenna and Hoda dazzled in black sequined playsuits complete with blazers featuring a feather trim as they were joined by viral vocal coach Cheryl Porter, 51, and the Manhattan School of Music.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Jenna swooned over her sparkly ensemble while also divulging her husband's fears.

She said: 'There is actually a glitter bra underneath this - and at first Henry thought I was wearing it open and I said "no honey, no sweetie".
'We might think we're Mariah [Carey], but we aren't!'
Jenna met her husband in 2004 while he was working on her dad's presidential campaign. They have been married for 15 years.
She previously admitted on the Today show that she had asked him to marry her after only three months of dating - but he turned her down because she was too young.
The couple, who share three children, daughters Mila, 10, and Poppy, eight, and son Hal, four, tied the knot in 2008 at the Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas.
Jenna and Hoda's energetic and festive performance of Carefree Christmas had the crowd cheering in enjoyment – and the pair admitted they had a blast.
'Going in, I was a little bit edgy, but right when the music started, we felt the flow and it was fun!' Hoda enthused to DailyMail.com.
Jenna added: 'Here's the other thing – it's fun to do things that make you nervous!'

Asked whether they're hoping to get a Christmas number one, Jenna exclaimed: 'Yes we are!'
Hoda added: 'We're going to elbow our way in there because we have determination.
'And we should say that we were ahead of Mariah Carey on iTunes for a brief moment - and Cher! It was for seven seconds. We have proof!'
Mariah is in contention with her 1994 hit All I Want for Christmas Is You, while Cher will be hoping for number one for her new single, DJ Play a Christmas Song.
As for their foray into the music industry, it appears as though Carefree Christmas is just the tip of the iceberg.
'I think next Christmas we should drop a whole album,' Jenna suggested.
Hoda teased: 'This is just the beginning. When you have Cheryl, the sky is the limit.
'We actually have a secret plan that we cant really reveal that we're already thinking about. You'll see.'
Jenna and Hoda first announced they had recorded their very own Christmas single on their talk show in November, where they heaped praise on their vocal coach Cheryl.
'Cheryl is a person who can teach anybody to sing,’ Hoda said at the time. ‘She has her own technique.
'She is like joy personified and she ran us through the paces - had us try to learn.’
Jenna agreed, and pointed out: 'It will sound good because of her.'
