Jennifer Lopez shows midriff while estranged husband Ben Affleck enjoys a cigarette during drive amid divorce

Jennifer Lopez showed off what her ex was missing as Ben Affleck was seen enjoying a cigarette during a drive amid their high-profile divorce.

The 55-year-old actress proudly showed off her toned midriff while arriving at a hair salon in Los Angeles on Friday.

Meanwhile, Ben was seen in the same city on a solo drive after being spotted planting a kiss on BFF Matt Damon's wife Luciana. 

Jennifer looked more than ready for a pampering session as she sported a clinging white cropped top featuring a rollneck design which showcased her ripped abs.

She teamed the showy top with a pair of baggy beige trousers and heels.

The A-lister accessorized with  large hoop earrings and a pair of designer shades

Her highlighted brunette tresses were put in a messy updo as she showcased her evergreen looks with complementary make-up on her face

She later hopped into her white luxury SUV to legendary music producer Linda Perry's house for a visit.

This comes just days after it was revealed that Jennifer and Leah Remini have reportedly 'reconnected recently' amid their respective divorces. 

While navigating the end of their marriages, the superstar, who filed for divorce from Ben Affleck last month on their second wedding anniversary, and Kevin Can Wait star had a 'long heart-to-heart' conversation. 

In August, Remini shocked the internet after announcing she and her longtime husband Angelo Pagan were getting divorced after 21 years of marriage.  

Lopez and Remini had originally fallen out after she was a no-show at the singer's wedding to Ben Affleck.

Adding fuel to the fire, Remini's pal Michelle Visage also hinted that the pair were no longer friends when quizzed about them being BFFs. 

However, a source has told Us Weekly that the women, both 54, 'couldn’t believe they were both in the middle of a divorce.' 

'Leah and J.Lo bonded over the shared experience,' the insider added. 'And are in the beginning of rekindling their friendship.' 

The duo were close for years until their rumored falling out back in 2022. 

According to Page Six, the two stars got into an argument in regards to Lopez's impending marriage to Affleck at the time. 

Remini had expressed her worries to Lopez, while also reminding her the reason for their first split years earlier: 'Because he is selfish and is not fully committed as a partner.'

However, following the fight, the On The Floor hitmaker 'was so mad' and decided to 'cut off all ties' with Remini.

In August 2022, Lopez and Affleck held a lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia - after saying 'I do' in Las Vegas one month earlier.

Remini was notably absent from the nuptials, with sources telling TMZ that Remini didn't make an appearance due to spending time with her daughter, Sofia, who was about to head off to college.

After news that Lopez and Affleck's relationship was rocky, a source told Page Six Remini wanted 'to reach out to her' but had no plans on saying 'told you so.' 

In late May, an insider told the outlet that Remini had reached out and offered her support. 

The pair first met in 2004 while attending a red carpet premiere when Lopez was dating Marc Anthony. The pair married in June of that year but divorced 10 years later in 2014 - and share twins Max and Emme, 16. 

Lopez - who tied the knot with Angelo Pagan in 2003 - recalled crossing paths with Jennifer for the first time at the event while previously talking to Entertainment Tonight in 2018. 

'So, we went to the premiere hoping she was gonna be ugly in real life,' she explained to the outlet. 

'And then, when I was approaching her, I was like, "I hope it's the lighting. Maybe she just looks good in here," and as I got closer I was like, "Oh damn, there's a lot of light right here and she looks really pretty."'

'I even said that! I said, "Why the f**k? Why are you so f***ing pretty?" And she laughed.'

'Then I was like, "Ugh, I hope she's dumb," ya know? I was like, "She could be dumb!" I wanted to find something [wrong with her] and I didn't...' Leah added.

And during a past, joint appearance on The View, the pair - who starred in the romantic comedy Second Act - also opened up about their friendship.

'We're very close, like sisters are. But in a different way that sisters are,' Leah shared on the show, per Us Weekly.

Lopez also expressed, 'We understand each other's lives. We have similar lives and similar careers, and we understand nuances that other people don't understand, so that also bonded us.'

The mom-of-two further labeled the actress as 'courageous, caring and generous' while Remini jumped in to say Lopez was 'loving, warm, fiercely loyal, courageous, brave, true and authentic.'
