Kamala Harris thought Saturday Night Live's roast of her was hilarious.

The Vice President flashed a large smile and joined ABC's The View host table in laughter as they played a clip of actress and comedian Maya Rudolph's impersonation of Harris.

Harris seemed pleased with the rendition Rudolph did of her and later on Tuesday defended the light-hearted mockery during an interview with radio host Howard Stern.

Conservatives on social media also liked the SNL episode, claiming it was refreshing to see the NBC satirical news comedy show go after liberals.

While Rudolph was played on screen, Harris was shown on The View on Tuesday reacting – wearing nearly an identical outfit to the one the actress donned for SNL that weekend.

Vice President Kamala Harris laughed out loud when she saw for the first time Maya Rudolph's impersonation of her on one of Saturday Night Live's comedy sketches over the weekend

'I am so happy to be campaigning in whatever swing state I'm in, which I will just refer to Wisconsa-Pennsylva-Georgia. Because I am going to protect your 'va-Georgia,' Rudolph said as she played the 2024 Democrat presidential hopeful.

'They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery,' The View co-host Joy Behar said.

'I hadn't seen that,' Harris said as she recovered from laughing at the bit.

'Do you like it? It's fun. Right?' Behar prompted.

'Maya Rudolph – I mean she is so good,' the VP continued. 'She had the whole thing, the suit, the jewelry – everything. The mannerisms.'

While The View hosts laughed along with the mocking tone of the SNL skit of Harris, Stern wasn't so pleased.

'Even when I watch them on Saturday Night Live where they have Maya Rudolph playing you, I hate it. I don't want you being made fun of. There's too much at stake,' the radio host said in their interview on Tuesday.

'I believe the entire future of this country right now,' he continued. 'I mean as America land of the free, home of the brave. I think it's literally on the line.

'How did you react to the Saturday Night Live bit?' he asked.

Harris pushed back and acknowledged the humor of the episode: 'Oh I just saw it actually, it was funny.'

'I am a huge fan of Maya Rudolph's so I think she put a lot of time into doing the piece and the character.'

'But to your point, I literally am losing sleep,' she added.

SNL historically makes fun of politicians in office, those running for the White House and other big names in Washington, D.C.
