Lana Del Rey fans MELT DOWN over shock wedding to tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in Louisiana: 'Was the ring bearer an alligator?'

Fans of pop star Lana Del Rey were stunned to learn on Thursday that she tied the knot with alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in Louisiana on Thursday.

The 39-year-old singer walked down the aisle by her father Robert Grant in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, just one month after her romance was revealed.

Fans were quite stunned to learn the news, which comes just hours after it was reported that the new couple just obtained a marriage license on Monday.

Many took to social media to express their shock, some to express their happiness for the newlyweds... and some who thought it was fake.

Numerous social media users either claimed or hoped that the wedding was actually a music video set. 

@MrMetaMask asked, 'Was the ring bearer an alligator?' while @bluesword accused the singer of lying when she left an Instagram comment that seemingly indicated they were not dating.

Others like @AGsSpotify added, 'Wh- this is so random and @zeyblvd said, 'literally just what.' 

@D0JACLIT was one of many social media users who thought the wedding was just, 'filming a music video.'

@blumax_x said, 'He's a republican btw and ugly asf too Lana seriously needs help' while @terminalose said, 'This is insane.' 

@prettygirlxclub added to the chorus of fans who thought the wedding was fake, adding, 'I'm sure this is for a music video.'

Still, others were happy for her like @ranghad_ who said, 'This is actually kinda cute idk why. she could probably date or marry anyone she wants. As long as they treat her well, I hope she's happy.' 

@zeyblvd added, 'at least shes happy' as @ctrlalfonso said, 'This is so lana del rey coded, I can't even be mad at her,' but @AnneTheReUp said, 'LANA LOOK AT ME THIS IS NOT YOU.' 

Others weren't as supportive with @BARDIVERSACE saying, 'Oh this is embarrassing' and @mmtheillest said, 'WHAT THE LITERAL F**K.'

The singer has yet to publicly comment on the nuptials at this time.
