Lana Del Rey says yes to heaven: Singer's complete dating history (which includes cop and rapper) as she ties the knot with alligator tour guide

Lana Del Rey shocked fans on Thursday with her surprise wedding to alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene. 

The Dark Paradise songbird, 39, and father-of-three said 'I do' just one month after going public with their romance.

The unlikely couple exchanged vows by the water at the same bayou in Louisiana where Dufrene operates his popular swamp boat tours. 

And though the pairing seems unusual, Lana's love life has been as captivating and unique as her music. 

From her relationship with a cop to her romances with a rapper, a folk singer, and rumors of engagements, DailyMail.com takes a look back at the hitmaker's colorful dating history.

Barrie-James O’Neill (2011–2014) 

Lana — born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant — began dating Scottish singer-songwriter Barrie-James O’Neill, 36, in 2011. 

They made their red carpet debut at the MTV Europe Music Awards in November 2012. 

That year she discussed their deep connection in an interview with Just Jared. 

'When I met my boyfriend… we always say that the entire time we were writing for each other, but we didn’t know it until we met each other.'

'So, you feel like even though you didn’t know the person then, all the songs are for them now. That’s romantic.' 

O'Neill's band, Kassidy, opened for Del Rey on her Paradise Tour in 2013.

In April 2013, the pair recorded a dreamy cover and a music video of Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood's song 'Summer Wine.' 

Engagement rumors swirled that same year, after Del Rey was spotted with a huge diamond on her ring finger. But by next year, the couple announced their breakup.

'We are currently not together,' she told Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten. 'He is a wonderful person. But there are some things he has to deal with. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship. I no longer felt free.' 

According to New Musical Express, O'Neill told the Scottish Sun that he didn't know they were broken up until he saw a news story about their split.

However, he appeared to be understanding of Lana's decision, saying it 'probably wasn't easy' being with him, due to his struggle with depression and insomnia.

'I had saved up a bit but I felt like a burden on Lana — as she was having to take care of me. And I don't like that, I like to provide for myself,' he said. 

A friendly connection between them seems to have endured, as O’Neill is credited as a producer and collaborator on the star's eighth studio album, Blue Banisters, released in 2021. 

Francesco Carrozzini (2014 – 2015) 

Lana went on to romance Italian director and photographer Francesco Carrozzini, 41 - the son of the late Franca Sozzani, who was the editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia. 

The two were first seen in July of 2014, enjoying time together in Portofino, Italy. 

Carrozzini reportedly told Turkish outlet Hürriyet Kelebek he moved from New York to Los Angeles for seven months to be with the superstar.

'We have a quiet, isolated life in Los Angeles. We are in our own world,' he shared.

In January 2015, they were spotted taking a romantic trip to St. Barts.

In August of that year, they attended the wedding of Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi.

However, their love didn't stand the test of time, and insiders shared the pair broke up sometime in November 2015.

Carrozzini married Bee Shaffer, 37, in 2018. 

Shaffer is the only daughter of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her ex-husband David Shaffer. 

G-Eazy (April – August 2017)

She then reportedly had a short-lived fling with rapper G-Eazy — born Gerald Gillum — with whom she was first spotted in April 2017 at Coachella music festival. 

Just a month later, the dynamic duo were photographed at a club together in Hollywood.

However, by August the rapper started a relationship with singer Halsey, signifying the end of his fling with Lana.

Though they kept their rumored romance largely under wraps, many fans have speculated that G-Eazy dissed Lana on his 2020 track with Jack Harlow, Moana.

He names Lana in the lyrics: 'I know a Keisha and I know Lana / They try to get me back, but I’m like, No, nah, nah / I'm sorry, I don't want no drama / Nah, that's a hard no, pass.'

Meanwhile Lana's fans believe the singer wrote some songs about the hip-hop artist as well, including her track White Mustang and In My Feelings.

In White Mustang she sings, 'Everybody said you’re a killer, but I couldn’t stop the way I was feeling the day your record dropped.' 

It appears to be a nod to his 2012 song Lady Killers.

Sean Larkin (2019 – 2020)

The New York born beauty then moved on with Sean Larkin - a cop and reality TV star from the Emmy-winning documentary series Live PD. 

The duo were first pictured on a date in Central Park in September 2019.

'I didn’t know we were being photographed. I would’ve worn something different,' the chanteuse told the Los Angeles Times about the romance the next month. 

Del Rey and Larkin made their relationship Instagram official in December 2019. 

The couple posted two separate photos of each other to their accounts. Sean was pictured leaning down to plant a kiss on his lady's head.

After the relationship became public, the duo attended a number of red carpet events together. 

He even accompanied her to the 62nd Grammy Awards.

Before their spilt, the father-of-two told the Los Angeles Times in October 2019 that his kids were 'blown away' by their relationship.

Larkin told the outlet, they 'just kind of hit it off from day one' and split their time in Los Angeles, where she lives, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

'When we were in Tulsa we hung out with my law enforcement friends and their spouses. We all Super Bowl partied together, dinners and things like that,' Larkin, said. 'Normal things couples do with their friends.' 

Unfortunately, the love didn't last. By March 2020, the pair had split up.

'Right now, we're just friends,' Larkin shared in an interview with The New York Times that month.

'We still talk and whatnot, we just have busy schedules right now.'

Clayton Johnson (2020 – 2021) 

Lana met musician Clayton Johnson — member of brother trio the Johnsons  — via a dating app.

Johnson is a model and musician and has made cameos in music videos such as DNCE's Cake By The Ocean. 

The pair even reportedly got engaged. 

Fans spotted a rock on the singer's finger during a performance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

She was then seen with the ring in a snap on his Instagram, which showed the pair engaged in a passionate kiss.

But by fall of 2021, they appeared to have split up, and Johnson deleted posts featuring the singer from his Instagram account. 

Jack Donoghue (2022)

Fans are convinced the star also dated Jack Donoghue, a member of the rock band Salem.

The speculation of a romantic connection was ignited speculation after he shared a video on his Instagram Story in early 2022, showing the two at a monster truck rally.

In the video, the star can be heard calling Donoghue as babe.

Further fueling these rumors, Donoghue posted a photograph of himself and Del Rey outside Chicago's Cook County Department of Corrections facility in July 2022, accompanied by the simple caption, 'family visit.' 

Evan Winiker (2022 – 2023) 

She was then linked to musician Evan Winiker, 41, though the exact timeline of their relationship remains private.

Their romance first sparked public interest after they were seen together at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off in September 2022.

Engagement rumors swirled in March 2023. However, Del Rey later clarified her single status in an interview with Bazaar.

She told the publication she 'definitely isn't in love' at the moment, as she confirmed her single status.

Her words came as a shock to fans, after it was claimed in March that Lana was set to wed Evan, when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring.

When asked about being in love, Lana said: 'I'm definitely not in love right now. No,' she said firmly, smiling. 'Absolutely not in love. Have been, but no.'

When asked if it is something she wants, Lana said: 'Well, I'll tell you. It hasn't crossed my mind in the last five months on the road or here yet. But give it a week. My history, sure, it's coming for me at some point. Yeah. It would be interesting if it didn't. It would be interesting if it didn't.'

Like Del Rey, Winiker is a prominent figure in the music industry.

Prior to his management career, he was a member of the indie-rock band Steel Train alongside music producer Jack Antonoff.

Jeremy Dufrene (2024)

Lana looked ethereal during her shock bayou wedding to alligator tour guide Jeremy.

In new photos and videos obtained by DailyMail.com exclusively, the Grammy Award nominee is seen being walked down the aisle by her father Robert Grant with a floral bouquet in hand.

Lana — who is worth a reported $30million — was radiant in a flowing white wedding gown and her hair styled in a curly ponytail that draped over one shoulder.

The classic floor-length frock had an elegant ruffled neckline, a billowing skirt and a modest train that dragged on the gravel aisle.

Instead of his go-to trucker hat, Dufrene rocked a chic black suit, white dress shirt and brown leather shoes for their backyard nuptials.

After saying 'I Do,' Dufrene — a Louisiana native and divorced father-of-three — grabbed onto Lana's hand as they made their way to the outdoor reception.

The newlyweds walked past one of Dufrene's famous swamp air boats, which was tied to the dock and decorated with white flowers for the couple's special day.

The wedding and the reception were held along the public harbor, with countless tables set up under massive white tents on the grass.

Lana's sister Caroline Grant and brother Charlie Hill-Grant were also in attendance Thursday.

For the reception, Lana added a light blue satin bow to her ponytail for 'something blue.'

This marks Lana's first marriage and Dufrene's second.

The wedding comes just hours after TMZ reported that Lana and her new husband had picked up a marriage license on Monday, September 23.

The license is yet to be returned and recorded.

The singer first met the father-of-two in 2019, before being spotted holding hands with him on August 25 in England.

She then attended Karen Elson's wedding with Dufrene earlier this month - with the smitten couple holding hands at the star-studded bash - which saw Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in attendance.

This came just days after she broke her silence on her rumored romance, with a comment underneath an Instagram post from @thejustnlife, speculating about their relationship.

She was previously seen holding hands with Dufrene ahead of her performance at Leeds Festival last month, and fans went on to speculate that she dropped a huge hint about her rumored lover in one of her songs.

'She wanted to go on a boat tour because it's a big thing in Louisiana, but she never expected to fall for a gator boat captain,' a source told DailyMail.com earlier this month.

The couple first met when Lana performed at the Buku Music + Art Project in Louisiana in March 2019. She took one of his boat tours while in town.

'When Lana revisited the area in May to perform at Hangout Fest, they were both single and they reconnected,' DailyMail.com's exclusive insider revealed.

'He saw his golden opportunity and asked her out and they have been together since. She loves older men.'

Her relationship with Jeremy initially worried friends who were convinced they would dig up something suspect about the divorced father of three.

But they soon realized he treats her well and gives her what she 'needs' from a partner.

'Her friends and team did some digging on him over fears he could be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn't need or want Lana's money,' the source said.

'They can see he treats her right and he's very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic.'

Lana went public with Jeremy on August 25, when the pair were spotted holding hands and having a romantic meal together in London after she performed at Leeds Festival.

The source added: 'She brought him to her most recent string of shows in the UK which was a big step. He is a good guy and she is wildly attracted to him. He is a good father and no one who knows him has anything bad to say about him.'

During Lana's initial alligator boat tour in 2019, she shared photos with her fans on Instagram and Facebook.

In the caption, the Born to Die singer wrote: 'Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur's Air Boat Tours x.'

One of the snaps showed her sitting beside Jeremy with her tongue out as he helped her steer the air boat.

He also appeared in the background of a photo of Lana posing up with her girlfriends during the tour.

She heavily promoted Jeremy's place of work in the post by sharing a photo of the handmade Arthur's Air Boat Tours sign and the company phone number.

Jeremy also posted a photo with Lana to his own Instagram, writing: 'I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.'

He looked absolutely smitten beside the brunette beauty in the photo as they posed with their arms wrapped around one another by the swampy water.

She has had her sights set on the swamp expert since their May reunion, as she enlisted the help of her friends to join her on one of his famous airboat excursions.

She documented the swamp adventure on her Instagram and even tagged her rumored boyfriend in a post published on May 16.

'Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene,' Lana wrote in the caption.

Jeremy has been employed as a captain at Arthur's Air Boat Tours since at least 2015.

The tour guide's Instagram page — which is now private — is filled with videos of his interactions with the wild alligators that rule Bayou des Allemandes, which is often referred to as the 'Catfish Capital of the Universe.'

He seems absolutely fearless while filming Reels of himself feeding alligators pieces of raw chicken by hand.

He refers to the alligators as his 'Cajun yard dogs' and has names for each of them.

Dufrene's swap tour has been taken by a host of celebrities over the years, including Kate Hudson, Emma Roberts and Hollywood's hottest leading man Glen Powell.

In a July 2019 Instagram post, Jeremy gushed that it was his 'pleasure' to take Kate and her family out on the water as they posed for a photo on the dock.

'thanks for coming and trusting me with your family,' wrote Jeremy, who earned a 'like' from the Almost Famous star.

His friendship with Powell dates back to 2015 when the Twisters star first took his air boat tour.

Glenn gave Dufrene a major shout-out on his Instagram at the time as he shared a fun snap of the duo drinking a beer and soaking up the sun.

'J-Bone and G-Trash. We're both single and ready to mingle. Find us on the swamp or at the Daiquiris To-Go place next door or on Craigslist Personals. Sorry for partying. (Not sorry),' joked the Anyone But You star.

More recently, Jeremy encouraged his followers to 'check out' his pal Glen's appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show in May of this year.

Dufrene's down-to-earth lifestyle in Louisiana is a nice change for Lana, who has dated a slew of famous faces since she achieved mainstream success in 2011.
