A men's fashion expert has shared his views on Donald Trump's gold watch collection, branding it a 'crappy' product.
The former president announced on Thursday he will selling a series of limited edition gold and diamond encrusted watches with his name on them.
Trump said on the Truth Social platform that the 'Official Trump Watch Collection is here, and these watches are truly special - you're going to love them'.
The range of watches, including the Trump Victory Tourbillon Watches, will sell from $499 up to $100,000, and every customer will receive a signed letter from the presidential candidate.
However, men's fashion expert Derek Guy, who goes by his username @dieworkwear with over 1.1 million followers, wasn't impressed.
The Republican campaigner finished his announcement saying: 'It's Trump time.'
Trump said each Trump Victory Tourbillon watch will be numbered - he owns watch number 1 - and are a 'true collector's item...owning one puts you in a very exclusive club'
The former president described the Trump Victory Tourbillon Watch, 'this isn't just any watch, it's one of the best watches made'
Guy reposted Trump's advertisement video and commented that the watches were priced so high solely because of Trump's attachment, instead of quality.
He wrote: 'I don't understand how anyone can do this to their supporters. This crappy $100k watch is a halo product to sell even crappier $500 and $800 non-Swiss steel and gold-plated watches with a cheap automatic movement.
'They play you as a sucker. The goal here is just to make money.'
In his announcement the former president described the Trump Victory Tourbillon Watch, 'this isn't just any watch, it's one of the best watches made', of which there will only be 147.

The watch features almost 200 grams of gold and 'more than 100 real diamonds', he adds: 'That's a lot of diamonds. I love gold, I love diamonds - we all do.'
Guy said: '$100k for a movement as smooth as the brain who buys this absurd thing.'

Other critics like MSNBC anchor Willie Geist have said: 'It's getting very expensive to be a supporter of Donald Trump.'
The announcement of his new line of watches comes days after he began selling limited edition silver medallions dubbed 'Trump Coins' for $100, Trump said in a video message posted on Truth Social.
The former president referred to the coins as a 'true symbol of American greatness', and a selection of his watches 'a symbol of determination'.
