Microsoft is down across the US as users report issues with 365 services.

Downdetector, a website that tracks online outages, shows major problems with the website, Outlook and logging into accounts.

Issues hit Microsoft 365 services around 12:30pm ET.

Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based subscription service that provides access to productivity apps, cloud storage, and security. 

The tech giant's Service Health Status shows 'Service Degradation' for Microsoft 365 Admin Center. 

'We're analyzing available service telemetry to identify why the issue initially occurred and we're also working to identify whether additional actions are required to resolve the impact for all users,' Microsoft stated at 1:45pm ET.

'This issue could potentially affect any user attempting to access Microsoft 365 services or the Microsoft 365 admin center.' 

The next update about the outage is expected at 3pm ET. 

Microsoft 365 includes a trove of applications, including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, Copilot, and Outlook Web and Desktop. 

Downdetector shows 57 percent of reported problems from users cited the website, 27 percent for Outlook and 16 percent issued reports for login. 

The outage appears to be widespread in the US, hitting New York City and Boston on the East Coast, along with Seattle and Los Angeles on the West Coast. 

Microsoft 365 Status has acknowledged the outage on X, notifying users that they are investigating the issue. 

The platform experienced a similar outage just last month, which also took down 365 services like Outlook and Teams.
