Mindboggling brainteaser challenges people to spot the hidden nail among the screws... but can YOU find it?

A mindboggling brainteaser has challenged Brits to spot the hidden nail among a sea of screws. 

The tricky optical illusion came courtesy of a post on Reddit by user @No-Wallaby-5187, who posted the puzzle to the social media channel's brainteaser thread page entitled Find The Sniper. 

Finding the lone nail is undoubtedly a tough task, as it is concealed around a number of screws that are almost identical in colour, shape and size. 

Given that it is such a tough puzzle to solve, see if you can do so in 15 seconds or less to prove your mental sharpness.

After other Reddit users were able to solve the optical illusion, they took to the comments section to give their best nail and screw-related puns in response, joking:

'Anyone willing to find it has at least one screw loose.'

'Gosh he really nailed that one'.
