Moment pair of motorcycle muggers try to rob woman on street in Argentina before getting instant karma

Video footage captured the shocking moment two motorcycle muggers attempt to rob a woman on the streets of Argentina, only to face quick karma.

The brave policewoman, dressed in plainclothes, thwarted the attack by opening fire on the assailants in Buenos Aires.

The incident occurred last Wednesday. However, details have reportedly only surfaced on Thursday, according to the Argentinian News outlet Carlos Paz Vivo!

Both suspects, aged 18 and 19, were subsequently arrested by police, La Noticiade Quilmes reported.

The dramatic scene unfolded at the intersection of General Manuel Savio and Bradley in Quilmes, Buenos Aires.

One of the thieves is seen dismounting off his bike and moving towards the victim.

The quick-thinking officer then drew her service weapon and fired three shots.

The first bullet struck the approaching thief, who collapsed immediately.

From the ground, the policewoman swiftly turned her aim towards the other criminal still on the motorcycle.

The shooting successfully stopped the robbery attempt and forced the criminals to flee. 

The officer was able to escape without injuries. 

The thieves were arrested when they sought treatment at the hospital for gunshot wounds.

Moments after the incident, a young man matching the description of one of the attackers arrived at Iriarte Hospital.

And later the same day, staff at Almirante Brown reported that another male, with a minor wound on his left arm, had been admitted to Oñativia Hospital in Rafael Calzada.
