Netflix fans are sharing the shows they gave up on in a savage Reddit thread that defies the critics.

After one viewer posted that he couldn't finish Parasyte: The Grey, hundreds followed suit to list the shows they too switched off.

Among them are some of the streaming service's biggest hits like Riverdale, The Witcher, Stranger Things and The Jeffrey Dhamer Story - all of which have received strong Rotten Tomatoes scores.

Sitting through Pieces of Her was like 'watching paint dry', said one, while others slammed

Riverdale was among the show nearly 700 Reddit users said they had given up on

The thread kicked off with criticism of Parasyte: The Grey

More than one streamer had harsh things to say about Riverdale, which ended it seven-season run in 2023.

The Witcher

DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

Manifest

Ginny and Georgia

The teen drama series was based on characters from the Archie Comics and starred Camila Mendes, Lilli Reinhard, and Cole Sprouse.

The CW show helped its stars gain international fame and it was even where Mendes made her acting debut.

But many said it lost its way soon after the first season.

'After Season 2 it just gets so bad its funny, and then it gets worse. Its interesting in how bad it gets but keeps going,' one said.

Other users revealed that they only watched the first two or three seasons and one person wrote that the show was 'a waste of time.'

Ginny and Georgia, another teen show, was equally unpopular.

Two commenters had no problem with the show's plotline but they couldn't get over the 'insufferable' main character Ginny.

Others that they turned off were The Witcher.

'I only ever watched two episodes of Season 3. Never managed to go back and finish,' a person commented on the post.

Manifest, which was canceled in 2021, wasn't popular either.

Despite being canceled, the show became one of Netflix's most watched in 2022.

'Started out with a good idea but towards the end of season two it was dragging and overly complicated. Turned out to be another 'lost',' a person commented.

Others like  AHMER. Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, were well made but too gruesome for those tuning in at home.

'I'm squeamish!' said one streamer of the gory series.

The Witcher is a well known Netflix original fantasy series that scored an 80 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Stranger Things' fifth and final season is currently filming and it holds the title of being the most streamed TV show in 2022

The fourth and final season of Manifest was aired on Netflix after the show was canceled by NBC after three seasons
