Newly-fired Michigan assistant Chris Partridge destroyed computer evidence in an attempt to cover up the school's sign-stealing scandal, according to a new report.
The school announced Friday that Partridge, who had served as the Wolverines' linebackers coach, had been 'relieved of his duties.'
And according to Yahoo! Sports, Partridge is alleged in NCAA evidence to have destroyed evidence after the scandal broke around now ex-staffer Connor Stalions broke.
Stalions was allegedly sent to opponents' games to record video that would be used to decode their in-game signals.
He resigned from his role as the school's recruiting analyst earlier this month.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is serving a three-game ban over the sign-stealing scandal
Yahoo! says that Partridge was not aware of Stalions' sign-stealing at the time.
Additionally, Yahoo! wrote that a booster named as 'Uncle T' in an NCAA report helped fund the alleged scheme and gave Stalions 'thousands of dollars' to carry out the operation.
On Thursday, coach Jim Harbaugh and Michigan agreed to accept his three-game suspension amid the scandal.
The Big Ten announced last week that Harbaugh was prohibited from coaching on the sideline until the postseason, with the school found to be 'in violation of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Policy.'
The school was previously set to have a Friday hearing against the Big Ten, but Harbaugh will now miss games against Maryland and Ohio State.
Harbaugh has repeatedly denied any knowledge or involvement in impermissible scouting of opponents.
With Michigan 10-0 and second in the Big Ten, it's likely that Harbaugh will return to the sidelines in the postseason.
