The soon-to-be mother-of-four, 39, looked stunning in black and white during a visit to visit The Swedish Defence Conscription and Assessment Agency on Thursday.

The royal donned a long baggy white shirt with puffed sleeves that pulled in at the wrists.

Alongside her relaxed-fit silk shirt, she layered with a three quarter-length black cardigan that flowed down past her hips.

She completed the casual but chic ensemble with a pair of sophisticated-looking flared trousers, which appear to be the same stylish set worn by the princess during her trip yesterday.

The royal couple visited the The Swedish Defence Conscription and Assessment Agency as part of their two-day visit to Värmland, a county in west central Sweden.

The Swedish Defence Conscription and Assessment Agency, is an agency within the total defence and reports to the Ministry of Defence.

The royal, who is already a mother of three sons, arrived at a Volvo site in Varmland with her husband Prince Carl Philip on Wednesday

It comes after the news that the couple are expecting their fourth child, after the two announced the happy news on Monday.

The Swedish Royal Household confirmed that the princess was 'doing well' and that the couple will welcome their sixth family member in February 2025.

The couple, who married in 2015, already have three sons, Prince Alexander, seven, Prince Gabriel, five, and two-year-old Prince Julian.

Carl Philip, 45, is the only son and second child of Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. His older sister Princess Victoria, 47, is the heir to the Swedish throne and he is currently fourth in the line of succession.

A statement shared by the Swedish Royal Household read: 'Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have the great pleasure to announce that the Princess is expecting the couple's fourth child.

The statement was shared alongside a sweet photograph of the couple, with Carl Philip smiling at the camera, while his wife leaned her head on his face. The background featured a stunning lake and several mountains.

Just yesterday, the happy pair were spotted for the first time following the exciting news.

As they arrived at the site, Sofia was dressed in black flared trousers, a white ribbed sweater and a pashmina around her shoulders. Her baby bump was only barely visible beneath her outfit.
