Behind-the-scenes shots of Prince William's Earthshot trip to Singapore have been highlighted in a slick new video by Will Warr.

The highlight reel from the filmmaker - who has on several times worked with the Prince and Princess of Wales - captured the royal's four-day trip to the south-east Asian nation last week.

It included shots of adoring crowds greeting the father-of-two, his sightseeing adventures, and an exciting dragon boat race on the Marina Reservoir.

Also featured were candid scenes in-between William's presenting at the third annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony, taking part in Earthshot Week and attending the United for Wildlife Global Summit 2023.

The clip showed him talking with prize winners amid the glitzy star-studded event - hosted by Hannah Waddingham - which saw the likes of Cate Blanchett, former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Australian wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin's son Robert Irwin in attendance.

The theatrical film opened with broadcasters' from around the world announcing the royal's arrival in Singapore while moving music built up the atmosphere.

Snippets of William's rousing speeches during the trip were also used, including parts of his remarks at the awards ceremony.

'The last year has been one of great change and even greater challenge,' he said.

'A year in which the effects of the climate crisis have become too visible to be ignored.

'I'd like to express my most sincere thanks to Singapore for the welcome you've given us.

'This is a great city, leveraging innovation to make a real impact for the future of our entire planet.'

The video, just under four minutes long, was uploaded to the Prince and Princess of Wales's YouTube channel.

The couple also commissioned London-based advertising filmmaker Will Warr to capture a behind-the-scenes film which shows the happy family getting ready for a number of events across the Coronation Weekend earlier this year.

Meanwhile, this weekend, William shared a rare behind the scenes look at rehearsals for the Earthshot Prize Awards.

The star-studded ceremony was broadcast in the UK and US on Sunday, after taking place on the southeast Asian island on 7 November.

Ahead of this, the royal had shared a glimpse inside rehearsals for the ceremony at The Theatre in Mediacorp.

The photographs show a more casual side to the future king, dressed in a dark suit with an open collar - offset by a pair of white trainers.

It was in stark contrast to the velvet green suit and bowtie he wore on the night itself, accessorised with a white pocket square and a metal poppy pin for Remembrance Day.

The royals also shared backstage images from Wednesday's ceremony, with Prince William seen checking over his notes before stepping on stage to give a speech.

Other photographs - edited to black and white - show the father-of-three sipping on water, fixing his bowtie, and walking onto the stage to give his annual address.

Sharing a number of the images on Instagram, the Prince and Princess of Wales said: 'Rehearsing for the @earthshotprize Awards earlier this week...

'#EarthshotSingapore2023 airs this weekend. Who will be watching?'

Five recipient organisations - including a marine protection charity and a soil carbon initiative - from 15 shortlisted were awarded £1million each to continue working on solutions to the climate crisis.

The organisations scooping the prestigious prize this year were announced as Acción Andina, GRST, WildAid Marine Program, S4S Technologies, and Boomitra.

When William founded the environmental award in 2020, he did so with the 10-year mission to find ways to protect and repair the environment with innovative solutions.

It awards five £1million prizes annually across the Earthshot themes of clean air, oceans, waste-reduction, climate change and restoring nature.

Over the last year, the Earthshot Prize cohort has benefited 1.5 million people globally, restored 2.1 million hectares of the ocean and sequestered 35,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

On Thursday, Prince William participated in a rare Instagram Q&A about staying focused, his favourite animal, the best food he tried in Singapore and his love for Aston Villa FC.

He was also asked about what makes him feel optimistic, his favourite part of last night's awards show, why he started the prize and where it will be held next year.
