Rapper Lil Baby arrested in Las Vegas for having a concealed weapon without a permit

Lil Baby spent his Monday night in jail after being arrested in Las Vegas for possessing an illegal weapon.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested the 29-year-old Grammy winner (born Dominique Armani Jones) for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit – a felony – and he's being held on $5K bail at the Clark County Detention Center, according to TMZ.

Lil Baby - who gets 36.2M monthly listeners on Spotify - was last seen in great spirits on Sunday night while attending Los Angeles Clippers point guard James Harden's 35th birthday bash at MainRó in Hollywood.

Coincidentally, the PJ rapper was with Harden the last time he was arrested in Paris in 2021 for some sort of marijuana-related charge, and he wound up paying French authorities a fine.

In 2019, Lil Baby was arrested in his Atlanta hometown for failure to signal, eluding police, and reckless driving in his orange Corvette.

The former drug dealer has a long rap sheet dating back to 2012 with possession an intent to sell charges, marijuana possession in 2013, and he spent two years in prison for possession of marijuana with intent to sell in 2014.

Last Saturday, Lil Baby - who boasts 52.3M social media followers - gave fans an update on his forthcoming fourth studio album: 'Album 80% done #sorry4thewait.'

On the personal front, the Booker T. Washington High School drop-out has fathered two sons - Jason Armani Jones, nearly 9; and Loyal Armani Jones, 5; - with babymama #1 Ayesha Howard and babymama #2 Jayda Cheaves.

In 2022, Lil Baby reportedly purchased a $10-$15M Atlanta bachelor pad designed by Annysa LaMantia, which features a 15-foot-wide bed, private screening room, and swimming pool.

The hip-hop star and his sister Daja Jones are co-owners of the Seafood Menu Restaurant & Lounge in Atlanta.
