REVEALED: Staggering number of explicit text messages Wisconsin female elementary school teacher, 24, is accused of exchanging with boy, 11

2 months ago 14

The staggering number of explicit text messages a Wisconsin elementary school teacher is accused of exchanging with an 11-year-old boy has been revealed.

Madison Bergmann, 24, sent an astonishing 33,000 racy texts to the young boy earlier this year, school resource officer Traci Hall testified at a preliminary hearing in St. Croix County Circuit court on Monday, according to the New York Post.

Those text messages became more sexually explicit as Bergmann and the student's conversations continued, eventually becoming so X-rated that the teacher bowed her head in shame when they were read in court.

Bergmann, who was dumped by her fiancé for her repulsive actions, is now facing 10 felony charges, including first-degree child sex assault, child enticement and multiple counts of sexual misconduct.

But her attorneys have argued that the charges should be dropped, claiming that the text messages weren't specific enough to prove they touched each other.

Madison Bergmann, 24, allegedly sent an astonishing 33,000 racy texts to an 11-year-old boy earlier this year

A Wisconsin judge heard arguments to determine whether to drop those charges on Monday, when prosecutor Karl Anderson read some of the disturbing text messages aloud.

He noted that the text messages between Bergmann and her student became even more explicit on April 27.

'There's a conversation about the victim being hard and if she felt that during their hug. Did she acknowledge that she felt it?' Anderson asked Hall as she took the stand.

'Yes,' the school resource officer testified, according to the Post.

'What else did she say?' the prosecutor pressed.

'That she would wear dresses more often because she liked how he touched her leg,' Hall replied.

'Does Ms. Bergmann ever allude to being sexually aroused in the text messages?' the prosecutor continued.

'She talks about being wet in the classroom,' Hall admitted, as Bergmann looked downwards.

The text messages became so racy that the former teacher hung her head in shame as they were read in court on Monday. She is pictured at a prior hearing

In other text messages that were previously revealed in court, the boy allegedly wrote: 'You were touching my chest a lot.'

In another, Bergmann allegedly told the boy: 'I love having my hand on your chest. I could feel your heart beating so much hahaha.'

The victim later reportedly replied, 'Haha it was beating so fast. I was so surprised and I loved it because you just kept kissing me.'

At another time, Bergmann allegedly wrote: 'When everyone was cleaning after reading, I was standing at the front and you were too, and I touched your chest,' she allegedly wrote.

'When I grabbed your shirt and I pulled you into me, oh my goodness…I want to lick your abs haha.'

Bergmann's defense attorneys have insisted she is being over-charged for her alleged actions

But Bergmann's defense attorneys have insisted she is being over-charged for her alleged actions, arguing in court that the text messages alone are not sufficient to support five charges of sexual misconduct.

'There is never any language where she says, "I want to have sex with you" or that he says, "I want you to do this with me,"' Attorney Joseph Tamburino said.

'They talked a lot about kissing, and lips and cheeks and touching legs. They also talk about some sexual issues, obviously, about a woman's body and a man's body.

'But nothing like "this is what I want you to do to me" or "this is what I will do to you."'

A judge, however, found that the text messages were admissible as evidence of sexual misconduct.

'It's clear to me that the state has met its burden to find probable cause that the defendant has committed a felony,' the judge ruled. 'Clearly, there was probable cause presented by the detective today.

'The case is bound to go for trial.'

Bergmann's alleged sexual misconduct first came to light on April 29, after the young boy's mother overheard a phone call between the teacher and the victim

Bergmann's alleged sexual misconduct first came to light on April 29, after the young boy's mother overheard a phone call between the teacher and the victim. His father then confiscated his phone and discovered the sexually-charged messages.

He allegedly saw a message in which Bergmann told the boy she 'wanted to just grab (his) face and push (him) to the floor and make out with (him),' according to a criminal complaint.

In another text, she allegedly wrote, 'I almost kissed you when you were on the ground today, but I got distracted by your stomach.'

The child's father then handed over printed text messages between Bergmann and his son to law enforcement and administrators.

She was terminated from her teaching role as she was taken into custody in April

It was later revealed that Bergmann allegedly moved the boy's desk out of sight so she could rub his legs during class at River Crest Elementary

During an ensuing interview with police, Bergmann allegedly told authorities that the victim's mother gave her the student's phone number after the family invited her to Afton Alps, a skiing resort, over winter break.

Upon searching Bergmann's bag, officers found handwritten notes between the pair stored in a folder emblazoned with the victim’s name, charging documents said.

'In her notes she tells him that she loves him, wants to kiss him, he turns her on, and that she is obsessed with him,' the complaint stated.

In one letter, Bergmann allegedly wrote, 'One of my cousins is in the 5th grade and I can't imagine a man talking to her how we talk. I know we have a special relationship and I do love you more than anyone in the world but I have to be the adult here and stop.'

Police also spoke to the little boy, who 'made comments about really liking her, trusting her, feeling weird but also liking it,' according to the complaint.

When asked about the text exchange between her and the student, Bergmann invoked her right to an attorney, documents said. She was then arrested and was terminated from her teaching role.

The ex-teacher was set to wed her partner Sam Hickman in July, but the plans were scrapped due to what Hickman has described as 'f***** up behavior' by his now ex-fiancé

It was later revealed that Bergmann allegedly moved the boy's desk out of sight so she could rub his legs during class at River Crest Elementary.

The fifth grader told investigators that Bergmann would rub his thigh and calves during independent reading time, according to a criminal complaint filed in St. Croix District Court.

The boy also told investigators they kissed multiple times in the classroom since March, that Bergmann was his first kiss, and they would secretly caress each other, according to charging documents.

The ex-teacher was set to wed her partner Sam Hickman in July, but the plans were scrapped due to what Hickman has described as 'f***** up behavior' by his now ex-fiancé.

'It's been indefinitely postponed,' a friend of the couple told the New York Post.

'He's really really hurt. Not talking too much about it, just like "this is f*****d up". He’s still in shock.

'Not only did she cheat on him, but she cheated with a little kid.'

She has pleaded guilty to all charges and is expected to appear in court on October 7 for her preliminary hearing. Bergmann faces up to 178 years in prison if convicted.
