Amanda Balionis took a well-deserved break during the 2024 US Open.

The veteran CBS Sports reporter headed to the Hamptons for the weekend amid speculation she was romantically involved with Rory McIlroy.

The Northern Irishman, who suffered a humiliating collapse across the closing holes of the tournament at Pinehurst Sunday, called off his divorce from wife Erica Stoll earlier in the week.

The shock move came less than one month after he initially filed paperwork against the mother of his three-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, Balionis was seen relaxing on the beach in a snap posted to her Instagram Story over the weekend.

The journalist rocked a black bikini while spending time with friends at the swanky summer hot spot.

In another pic, Balionis posed in a red Ramy Brook dress as she relaxed during her weekend away from her golf course.

In North Carolina, meanwhile, McIlroy suffered a heartbreaking loss amid his quest to secure a fifth major title, allowing his best opportunity to end a 10-year wait slip through his fingers.

Thirteen years after winning his first US Open and maiden major at Congressional – McIlroy looked set to finally get back in the winner's circle when he led by two shots with five holes to play.

However, the athlete astonishingly missed from two feet and six inches for par on the 16th and less than four feet on the 18th.

Balionis has not addressed the speculation. Rather, she's living her best life on vacation

'Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together,' McIlroy said last week

It allowed Bryson DeChambeau to claim his second US Open title on an extraordinary final day in North Carolina.

McIlroy certainly has a lot on his mind, evidenced by the fact he made a rare statement about his personal life ahead of the tournament.

'There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumor is a fool's game,' McIlroy told The Guardian

'Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.'

The former world number one, whose career earnings on the PGA Tour total nearly $87million, first met New York state native Erica during the 2012 Ryder Cup while she was working for the PGA of America.

They began dating several months after he abruptly called off his engagement with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki in 2014.
