Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann admits to wild sex act involving CEREAL - as she breaks silence on 'pushing the boundaries' with husband Brett

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives docuseries has been making headlines thanks to a viral swinging scandal - but there's another sex act on the show that may be even wilder.

On episode three of the Hulu series, Demi Engemann, 29, gets outed by castmate Whitney Leavitt, 30, for using a box of Fruity Pebbles cereal during oral sex with her husband Brett.

Although the intimate moment happened before the women started filming the show, Whitney shared it with some of the cast behind Demi's back.

For extra emphasis, Whitney then jokingly demonstrated the sex act with friend Mayci Neely, 29, by squatting over her face.

When asked what role the cereal actually played in the act, Whitney said cryptically, 'What can I say? The fruity cereal has to do with taste.'

Later that night, Whitney gifted Demi with a box of Fruity Pebbles cereal in front of the other women - leaving the mom-of-one utterly mortified.

'This specific thing that she was trying to make light of and make a joke was something that was completely intimate and off the table, that was between Brett and I,' Demi told producers.

'We swore to each other that we would never tell a soul about that. I just think it's below the belt.'

Demi later admitted that she'd got into an argument with her husband after he learned that their X-rated sexscapade had been discussed on camera.

Speaking to DailyMail.com about the fallout from the racy moment last week, Demi said that she wasn't worried about the moment airing on the show any longer.

'We're pretty open, within reason - we have kids and we wanna be respectful,' she explained.

'But we're pretty open with how obsessed we are with each other and how we push the boundaries and have fun with it for sure,' she continued.

'I think it was more just a lesson learned for me that there are some things that you should keep to yourself and keep between man and wife.

'I don't think [Brett] is worried. He's so understanding and supportive and sweet and we have such good communication, so we're long past that.

'It's just a funny thing at this point.'

Fans on social media have gone wild over the outrageous moment, with many trying to figure out exactly what Demi did in the bedroom with the breakfast treat.

'I just want to be explained what Demi did with the Fruity Pebbles honestly,' posted one, while another wrote, 'Has anyone figured out what that Mormon lady did with Fruity Pebbles?'

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives follows a group of glamorous influencer moms who have their faith and friendships rocked by a couple-swapping scandal.

While reality TV fans are loving the series, some members of the Mormon community have been outraged by the show's portrayal of their faith.

Additionally, the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posted a cryptic statement on their website seemingly aimed at the Hulu series last month.

'Some portrayals are fair and accurate, but others resort to stereotypes or gross misrepresentations that are in poor taste and have real-life consequences for people of faith,' they wrote when discussing the representation of Mormonism in the media.

'While this is not new, a number of recent productions depict lifestyles and practices blatantly inconsistent with the teachings of the Church.

'Others irresponsibly mischaracterize the safety and conduct of our volunteer missionaries,' the statement continued.

'We understand the fascination some in the media have with the Church, but regret that portrayals often rely on sensationalism and inaccuracies that do not fairly and fully reflect the lives of our Church members or the sacred beliefs that they hold dear.'

The series is produced by the team behind Netflix's My Unorthodox Life, which followed designer Julia Haart after leaving her strict orthodox Jewish community behind to become a hotshot in the fashion world.

'The scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers implodes when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines,' teases a press release.

'Now, their sisterhood is shook to its core. Faith, friendship and reputations are all on the line.

'Will #MomTok be able to survive and continue to give the rulebook a run for its money, or will this group fall from grace?'
