Shocking legal twist in case of California serial road rage Tesla driver Nathaniel Radimak

3 weeks ago 5

A California man, known as the 'Tesla road rage guy,' who was sentenced to five years in prison last year for a string of road rage incidents that left many of its female drivers terrorized is scheduled to be released today.

Nathaniel Walter Radimak, 36, was sentenced in January 2023 to five years in prison, but a bombshell report has revealed that Radimak is on parole.

A court granted him 424 days of pre-sentence credit for time served while awaiting sentencing, ABC 7 News previously reported.

Radimak, who drove a black Tesla, used a metal pipe to bash in the cars of his victims in the unprovoked attacks that took place between 2022 to 2023.

He was found guilty of criminal threats, vandalism, assault, and elder abuse.

He also had a previous road rage arrest in which steroids, and more than $30,000 in cash was found in his car, according to the office of the DA.

Nathaniel Walter Radimak, 36, was found guilty of criminal threats, vandalism, assault, and elder abuse but could be released as early as this month

When he was sentenced, Radimak’s first possible parole date was July 2025, but the decision was made without the victims input, as per a report from MSN

At least 10 of the women from different cities across LA county were victimized by Radimak while driving. Two of the victims were not informed about his sentencing at the time, as per the news outlet.

Radimak was sent to prison in October 2023 and was being held at the Sierra Conservation Center, state prison records revealed, MSN reported.

According to court records, he was given credit for 424 days served and awaiting sentencing, 212 for actual days in jail and another 212 days for good behavior.

On Wednesday afternoon, attorney Gloria Allred held a press conference with three victims and their reactions to Radimak's early release from prison.

'His early release has shocked and disappointed many of the victims whom I represent,' she said.

'It is also unsettling to them that the notice that they received about his release came from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and on the form which was sent to them, under Inmate proposed community of release, it states "Unknown."

'Many of the victims are 'terrified that Mr. Radimak will retaliate against them.'

She also said many of the victims were never consulted about the plea deal and were never given a chance to speak at the sentencing, as was their right under Marsy’s Law.

One of the victims, identified as Jane Doe one, called out the Los Angeles D.A., saying he 'let many of the victims of Nathaniel Radimak down.'

'He plays an essential role in prosecuting crimes and ensuring offenders are held accountable for their actions, but this did not happen,' she said.

'Our constitutional rights were violated and were not followed by the D.A.’s office. He did not properly represent our rights.

She added: 'In November, lets hold the D.A. accountable for his failure to protect victims like us.'

DailyMail.com reached out the Los Angeles District Attorney's office to find out more details about Radimak's release.

Video footage shows Radimak during one of the violent attacks in January 2023, swinging his bat repeatedly battering a Chevy pick-up truck with a pipe on on the southbound lanes of Highway 2 near York Boulevard in Glendale.

The Chevy driver captured the disturbing incident on their cell phone, which also showed Radimak return to his charcoal-colored 2022 Tesla Model X with no license plates and drive away from the scene.

Allred said before the press conference that she had 'a message for Mr. Radimak.'

'Even though you are released on parole, a condition of parole is that you must obey all laws.

'If you violate any law and threaten any person or damage their property or both, your parole may be revoked, and you may then be sentenced to time in prison for the remainder of your original sentence.'

'If you have not learned your lesson from the time you have spent in custody, another judge will teach you the lesson you should have learned from the time that you have spent there.

'All potential violations of the law involving my clients will be reported, and you will be held accountable. Consider yourself warned. We will not be intimidated by you, and we will not be deterred from seeking justice.'
