A woman was arrested in Brazil after she allegedly cut off her husband's penis because he was unable to stay aroused during a sexual encounter.
The 48-year-old woman told police she sliced off the 58-year-old's penis after he did not have an erection while they had sex at their home Sunday in Cacoal, a city in the northern state of Rondônia.
The woman told the Rondônia Military Police that she and her husband had spent the afternoon drinking before she cut off his manhood.
After noticing that he was unable to maintain an erection, the woman went to their kitchen and grabbed a large knife and cut off his limb.

The man ran out of his home and was chased throughout the neighborhood.
The pair broke into a neighbor's residence before the Rondônia Fire Department arrived.
Paramedics rushed him to a Cacoal area hospital, where he was treated.
The medical facility said that the man's penis was not amputated, Brazilian news outlet G1 reported.
The woman was placed in pretrial detention as part of the investigation.
In May, a court in the Brazilian southeast town of Atibaia sentenced Daine dos Santos to four years and eight months in prison for cutting the penis of her 39-year-old husband, Gilberto de Oliveira, husband, and flushing down the toilet.
The 34-year-old mother-of-three, who has a daughter with de Oliveira, was facing up to 30 years in prison for attempted murder.

Dos Santos walked in de Oliveira having sex with her 15-year-old niece on her birthday on December 12, 2023, and then began to plot how to cut his limb off.
Dos Santos carried out her plan 10 days later when she tied de Oliveira's hands to the bed headboard while having sexual intercourse and cut off his penis with a razor.
She took a photo the severed genital and shared it on the family WhatsApp chat and then flushed it.
In a strange twist, de Oliveira sent his dos Santos a letter in which he asked for forgiveness and received a second chance.
'It was all my fault,' de Oliveira said in a court statement the day of dos Santos' sentencing. 'I couldn't have cheated on my wife with my niece. She didn't deserve that.'
