As desperation begins to set in for the New York Jets, fans have been clinging on to any positive news regarding the health of injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Jets hopes of making the playoffs are slim - almost the point of non-existence. But with Rodgers' miraculously quick recovery from a torn Achilles tendon, there remains some small stretch of hope that he could return soon.
That was echoed today, when video of Rodgers walking by the Jets social media team was captioned, '@AaronRodgers12 moving so quickly he almost snuck by us'.
It led some fans to tell the team to 'suit him up today' as the team is set to trot out third-string quarterback Tim Boyle for a second week in a row.
Other fans suggested that he needs more time to rest and recover - which is exactly what the plan is for New York.

Rodgers still needs time to get his feet back under him (literally and figuratively) after his gruesome Week 1 injury against the Buffalo Bills.
Since then, he's been working on recovering from an Achilles injury quicker than anyone at his age ever has.
So far, he's on track to do just that - with a return this season on the cards, especially if the Jets are still in playoff contention.
He returned to practice earlier this week as New York opened his 21-day practice window to come back to the team.
The Jets hope to keep those playoff hopes alive with Sunday's game against the Falcons.
