The OTHER glamorous aide supporting Trump at his trial: Meet his golf partner Natalie Harp

8 months ago 24

He may be stuck in criminal court and frustrated he can't be on the campaign trail.

But Donald Trump has a collection of loyal and very glamorous aides supporting him in the Manhattan court with every twist and turn of the case.

Margo Martin stole the show on Monday when she joined the former president in the build-up on the first day of the historic trial.

Joining him on Monday and Tuesday was another faithful staffer, Natalie Harp, who credits the presumptive Republican nominee with saving her life amid her battle with bone cancer.

Harp is among the entourage accompanying the former president during his first criminal trial in Manhattan this week.

The 32-year-old left her hosting gig at the conservative One America News Network in 2022 for a role with Trump's communications team.

Harp credits Trump's Right to Try law for allowing her the ability to seek alternative care for her bone cancer after chemotherapy failed. 'I'm not dying from cancer any more thanks to President Trump, I'm living with cancer,' Harp said in 2019

Harp was seen on Monday outside the courtroom in downtown Manhattan during a break from the first day of jury selection for the case alleging Trump falsified records related to hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

The blonde also stepped out of the motorcade with Trump for the second day of the trial on Tuesday alongside the former president's deputy communications chief Margo Martin.

Harp was the second OANN employee to jump ship for Trump's team - after Christina Bobb left a year prior. She ended her tenure as host of The Real Story and took up the job with the campaign in March 2022.

The glamorous, young assistant comes from a devout Christian family.

She is often seen accompanying the 2024 presidential candidate on his golfing trips, riding in her own golf cart equipped with a laptop and computer.

Harp's links to Trump go back several years.

In 2019, the blonde credited a healthcare policy introduced by the then-President for saving her life as she battled with bone cancer. She claimed that the Right to Try law, signed by Trump in 2018, allowed her to seek an effective treatment for her Stage 2 bone cancer after others had failed.

The law allows patients to apply to use experimental drugs that have not been FDA-approved.

Harp was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and tried chemotherapy twice unsuccessfully before finding 'another oncologist who was willing to try a different approach.'

'I'm not dying from cancer any more thanks to President Trump, I'm living with cancer,' Harp said in 2019.

Harp has her own golf buggie that serves as a mobile office equipped with a laptop. She regularly follows Trump while he plays golf at Mar-a-Lago

After forging a successful career at OAN - where her segments took aim at Democrat policies and were often peppered with references to her faith - Harp was poached by Trump. The former president was likely also taken by her regular social media posts sharing his statements.

Harp is now often seen by the former president's side and helps run his social media accounts.

She has a desk outside of Trump's office and is readily available to join him on meetings or trips.

'She is indicative of the people around him who just love him,' one advisor told the Washington Post in December. 'Love him too much.'

Harp said: 'Like other staffers, I do spend time with him. He is extremely popular with the people, I see that by being with him.'

She also spoke about her cancer battle at the 2020 Republican National Convention in a speech she later pinned to the top of her Twitter page.

'When I failed the chemotherapies that were on the market, no one wanted me in their clinical trials. They didn't give me the right to try experimental treatments, Mr. President. You did, and without you, I'd have died waiting for them to be approved,' Harp said at the time.
