Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's families still hope to spend Thanksgiving together, despite the singer unable to make his game tonight.

While there was never confirmation Swift would be at Arrowhead Stadium to see Travis play against his brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles, any chance of her attendance was ended when she rescheduled an Eras show in Brazil to Monday night.

Her parents are reportedly attending the game though and if so, would be set to meet Travis's mom and dad for the first time.

According to TMZ, later this week the families could gather for Thanksgiving at Travis's new $6million home in Kansas City.

TMZ adds that Travis and Taylor are still working out how they will celebrate Christmas together, with the Kelce and the Chiefs playing the Raiders in Kansas City on Christmas Day.

Travis watched one of Swift's Eras shows in Argentina recently with  her father Scott

Taylor was met Travis's mom Donna on multiple occasions while watching Chiefs games

Travis has met Taylor's father Scott - they stood together to watch her recent Eras show in Buenos Aires. Scott was even seen wearing a Chiefs lanyard - gifted to him by Travis - despite being a lifelong Eagles fan.

On the field, the game promises to be a blockbuster. It's a repeat of last season's Super Bowl - which Travis and the Chiefs won - with the two standout teams this time around.

Travis and brother Jason - a center for the Eagles - will put their brotherly love to one side for the game, while their mother Donna may well be tempted to wear the 50-50 jersey from February's Super Bowl to support both her sons.

Speaking on their New Heights podcast last week, Jason told Travis he was keen to meet Taylor's dad because he once played football as center.

Travis said: 'He's a huge football guy – he played college ball. I believe a year at Hawaii and then a year or two – I forget how long her was there – at Delaware.

'I think he was a linebacker-turned center... he's a tall guy – about 6ft 2ins.'

Jason responded: 'We're going to have to get together and talk some center shop one day.'

Taylor has met Travis's dad Ed, as well, with the Chiefs star joking with his brother that her meeting him made him feel nervous.

'This is a terrifying conversation,' Travis joked. 'I felt terrible for Taylor' before going on to clarify how much he loves his dad.

Travis recently purchased a $6milliom mansion in Kansas City as he wanted more privacy

'We can't keep kicking dad just because we enjoy doing it, man and our dad is the best f***ing dad in the world,' Travis said.

'He is a great converser. It's where Jason gets his storytelling, and all of his charisma. We're saying this just because we like to rag on the big guy.'

Donna and Ed were married for nearly 25 years before they split amicably.

Donna and Taylor have met multiple times before - the first time Taylor was at a Chiefs game, she was stood alongside Donna in the Kelce suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

As for his new home, Travis splashed out on the property last month because he wanted extra privacy.

The mansion has a swimming pool, waterfall and a mini golf course - enough to entertain the many guests he looks set to welcome.

In the meantime though, both sets of families will be thinking about tonight's game - especially as the Swifts are Eagles fans and from Philadelphia.

Jason's Eagles team have the best record in the NFL as it stands, on 8-1, but Travis and the Chiefs are not too far back on 7-2.
