Walmart shoppers rush to snap up $10 back-to-school items on sale for just $1

A TikTok user was excited to purchase a $10 back-to-school item for only $1 at her local Walmart. 

Mirella Mejia-Ceballos was shopping at Walmart when she spotted fantastic deals on tumblers, water bottles, and lunch boxes.

The mother of two advised TikTok users to run over to Walmart and pick up the back-to-school clearance items before it's too late in a video she posted yesterday.

'Run, don't walk to your local Walmart,' Mejia-Ceballos said in the video.

All of the products Mejia-Ceballos showed off in her video were between $9.96 and $13.48 online, yet available in that store for $0.75 to $1.

Mejia-Ceballos showed off a few of the discounted products she found at Walmart.

The first product she showed off was a Zak Designs 12oz Gabby's Dollhouse Kids Straw Tumbler, which is currently available for $10.98 online.

The five-star product the TikToker found was in good condition and worth only 0.75 cents.

She then picked up a Gabby's Dollhouse Kids Insulated Reusable Lunch Bag, which only cost $1 at the store.

Anyone who wants this lunch bag can find it in-store or order the product online for $9.96.

Mejia-Ceballos then picked up a well-conditioned Thermos Stainless Steel Funtainer Water Bottle with Straw, which is available online for $13.48.

However, the TikToker was lucky enough to find the product only being worth $1.

Mejia-Ceballos immediately bought multiple Funtainers for her nieces and claimed her daughter 'absolutely loved' the lunch bag and cups.

Walmart currently has more than 700 items in their back-to-school section on its website that are either on clearance, rollback, or available for a reduced price.

These products include clothes, backpacks, and lunch boxes.

Although the products Mejia-Ceballos spotted were for sale at her store, none of the items she showed off in her video were listed with a price reduction online.

Some of the Walmart products that experienced large price reductions include the BUSATIA Bento Boxes, Generic Boys School Bags for Kids, and BIC Wite-Out EZ Correct Correction Tape, 4 Count, according to Entertainment Tonight.

One TikToker who claimed not to have spotted $1 lunch box deals at their local Walmart yet, but Mejia-Ceballos advised her on what to do in the meantime. 

'Check out the back to school areas and the actual aisle where they have the lunch boxes and water bottles sometimes they don’t put them in the clearance aisles,' she suggested.

Two other commenters claimed they are also 'waiting' for the sales at their local Walmarts.

'The cashier said one the Halloween stuff get put out they mark down the back to school stuff - hopefully they do it soon for you too,' Mejia-Ceballos wrote regarding her shopping trip.
