Buffalo Bills star Von Miller is ready to suit up for the team's clash against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, head coach Sean McDermott confirmed Friday.

The linebacker last week reportedly turned himself into police on accusations that he put his hands around his pregnant girlfriend's neck, shoved her and pulled her hair. He is facing a felony charge of assault on a pregnant person.

But McDermott insisted Miller was 'ready to go from a football standpoint' when he spoke to the media two days ahead of the Bills' game against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

However, McDermott acknowledged the backlash from some fans to Miller potentially playing on Sunday amid the allegations.

'I 100 percent understand [the fans' concern],' he said. 'This is not an easy situation. The hardest part for us is, I'm a football coach, I'm not an investigator and we only have so much information at this point. But we're doing the best job we can with what we have or don't have in this case.

'I can promise those out there that we have looked into every last thing. We jumped onto a call Sunday night again and said, "Everybody, what do we know?" And there were multiple people from different parts of our organization with expertise in this area and this is where we're at.

'For those people, I can promise you that we're always going to try and do the right thing, beyond the football field.

'We have to continue to take it one day at a time and see what more comes forward.'

A spokesperson for the Dallas County Sheriff's Office told TMZ that Miller was booked at the Glenn Heights' Police Department in Glenn Heights, Texas, at around 4 p.m. (C.T.) on Thursday.

According to documents obtained by several media outlets, police say the incident initially started at Miller's apartment in the Dallas-Forth Worth area at roughly 10:40 a.m., Wednesday, when he and his girlfriend argued over their travel plans for this upcoming weekend.

Officials say in their report that the victim alleged the Bills player of walking up to her while she was still collecting her things, before repeatedly shoving and pushing her.

'While the altercation was going on,' officers wrote in the warrant, Miller's girlfriend 'kept yelling ''Stop I'm pregnant.'''

She further told authorities that Miller eventually pushed her onto a chair, then laid a hand on her and applied pressure to her neck 'for 3 to 5 seconds before letting go.'

The woman reported the pain to police but did 'not have difficulty breathing', docs obtained by TMZ state.

Miller then allegedly threw his girlfriend's laptop on the group before stomping on it.

Officials also say in their report that when the woman went to get her personal device, Miller walked up to her and 'pulled her by her hair, ultimately pulling a chunk of hair out and causing her to fall to the ground'.

According to the arrest warrant, when authorities arrived at the scene, the woman, who claims to be six weeks pregnant, had abrasions on her left hand, and bruises on her neck, abdomen and left bicep.

However, in a text message obtained by WFAA from Miller's partner, she downplayed the incident and said the fallout was 'insane and sad'

'We’re fine... things were blown way out of context. This is actually outrageous.'
