This is the moment ex-Premier League player Jamie O'Hara comes clean about his true identity on the latest episode of new dating series 'Love Undercover'.

O'Hara, who made 93 appearances in the English top flight, is one of several current and former soccer stars taking part in the Peacock reality show; along with the likes of ex-Liverpool forward Ryan Babel and Mexican midfielder Marco Fabian.

In the hope of meeting their match, the group of 18 players head to Los Angeles under fake personas, before later revealing who they are to potential love interests.

In a preview of Thursday's episode obtained exclusively by Mail Sport, viewers will see O'Hara build up the courage to tell his date Renee Ash that he is, in fact, a 'really famous soccer player' from England.

The 37-year-old had initially told women on the show that he works in ad sales, only to eventually drop the act and tell all.

'So I'm actually a really famous soccer player from England,' he tells his brunette date in Thursday's episode.

The talkSPORT radio co-host then adds: 'And I have one of the biggest radio shows in Europe.'

'Shut the f**k up!' Ash says as O'Hara bursts into laughter. 'This is a great start.'

Before the first episode aired on May 9, O'Hara admitted in an interview with Mail Sport that ditching his famous footballer persona proved a 'disaster' on the show.

'I love being known in England, in the UK, and people knowing who you are,' he said.

'"Jamie, how are you? Jamie, great to see you. Love seeing your talkSPORT stuff."

'Go to America and nobody knows who you are. Absolutely no idea. Disaster from start to finish because everything that I used to use, especially when I was single and trying to date women, within five questions I would be telling them that I was a footballer… it was a car crash.

'I didn't know what to do, I didn't know where to go with it, and basically I felt like I had no game, nothing about me whatsoever.

The new Peacock reality series has been earning rave reviews from fans on social media

'I want to go back to being Jamie O'Hara! I way preferred that.'

O'Hara and Babel, 36, are the eldest bachelors on the show, with former Mexico national team star Fabian aged 33.

Mexican goalkeeper Sebastian Fassi, 29, and Lloyd Jones, the youngest of the bunch at 27 and the only one currently playing in England for Charlton Athletic, both proved super popular in the early stages.

The hit reality series has earned rave reviews from fans left gripped by its unique format.

'Well done Peacock! #LoveUndercover is my favorite type of mess,' one wrote on X.

Another, who claimed they 'never' normally watch reality TV, said: 'we're all caught up now... and now we're on a reality tv binge.'

While a third added: 'I'm [not gonna lie] it's kinda fun seeing some of them get humbled.'
