The Rock went off-script and unleashed another X-rated rant and attack on Cody Rhodes after Raw went off-air on Monday.
The pair somewhat brawled in what has been considered one of the best endings to a wrestling show in recent memory. The Rock attacked his rival and left him in a bloody heap outside the arena the show was being filmed in in Chicago.
They will go head-to-head in the main event of night one of WrestleMania, with The Rock teaming with real-life cousin Roman Reigns to take on Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a tag team match.
The match will have major implications for the main event of night two, which will see Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal title against Rhodes, though the nature of the match will be decided based on who wins the tag bout.
Rhodes and The Rock have butted heads for a number of weeks, and their rivalry hit new heights on Monday, with the latter continuing it off camera - and he has broken his silence on why.
WARNING: Graphic content and strong language
I hate constraints and bullshit rules - and just because some @wwe producer says, "clear" (meaning, we are no longer live on the air and the show is over) that doesn't mean I just stop whatever I'm doing and tell everyone great job.
It fucking pissed me off. I can't shut my high… pic.twitter.com/rIGh5GnaBW
The Rock went on another X-rated rant after WWE programming went off air on Monday night
He left bitter rival Cody Rhodes in a bloody heap after attacking him at the end of programme
The Rock then took to social media to explain to fans why the situaiton 'f***ing p***** me off'
An alternative angle of the beatdown has shown a producer telling the pair they are off air, to which The Rock responds: 'F*** that.'
He continues: 'Shut your mouth. Clear my a**. How did that feel? Did that feel good? What, just because the show is over? That doesn't mean this s*** stops. The Rock doesn't give a f***.
He then continues to beatdown on Rhodes, hitting him with a belt, before ranting: 'What? Show is over and it stops? F*** that. Your script, f*** that,' and eventually walking away.
'The Great One' has received widespread plaudits for his work since his return to WWE earlier this year, which has seen him turn heel after plans for him to face Reigns were changed.
Adopting a villainous persona, fans have suggested he is doing some of the best work of his career and have pleaded for a longer run in the company before he returns to Hollywood.
The Rock, real name Dwayne Johnson, took to social media to explain what happened, posting the video with the caption: 'I hate constraints and bulls*** rules - and just because some WWE producer says, "clear" (meaning, we are no longer live on the air and the show is over) that doesn't mean I just stop whatever I'm doing and tell everyone great job.

'It f***ing p****d me off. I can't shut my high emotions off just because a script says we're done. But even in this crazy f***ing world of pro wrestling - this is a microcosm of a larger issue I have with individuals, corporations & governments - telling us what we can or can't do.
'You have to do it this way, you have to say it that way, or you'll get cancelled. They create fear if you have a different perspective and don't live by their rules. It's their way, or no way.
'F*** that. I say it the way I want to say it. I do it the way I want to do it. My choice. Our choice. F*** your "clear" - Final Boss.'
