Golfers were forced to shelter under a bridge on Monday after a tornado hit a Missouri course in scary scenes.

A group was on the Payne' Valley Golf Course in the afternoon when extremely inclement weather and high winds began.

In video of the incident, which was shot by a man named Paul Sundy, the group can be heard nervously reacting to their surroundings, as one says 'oh s***t' in response to the wind.

The group's cart can then be seen flipping over as they attempt to round a corner, leaving them in disarray.

'You alright?' one man shouts out, before his friend says 'No.'

The golfers gathered their composure near a stream as the wind seemed to die down

The first man then says 'We gotta go,' and the group proceeded to abandon their cart and find safety under a nearby bridge.

The group could then be seen sitting on rocks under the bridge in a separate clip, as one man shouted for the group to cover their heads.

The wind then seemed to die down a bit, though a woman in the group could be heard crying over the incident.

It didn't appear as though any serious injuries were sustained.
