Could Kai Rooney follow in the footsteps of his legendary father, Wayne? Manchester United fans seem to think so as a viral social media clip of the youngster training has showcased his sparkling ability.
Having a father who had such a glorious career, such as Rooney's, must feel like a tough act to follow.
The 38-year-old is a five-time Premier League champion, United's all-time top scorer with 253 goals, and even won the Champions League in 2008.
However, Kai, 14, appears to have picked up his father's footballing ability. He has been lighting up the Red Devils academy, replicating what Wayne did for the senior side - scoring lots of goals.
While his figures speak for themselves - he scored 56 goals in his first full season at the United academy - it's a recent TikTok video that has got the Red Devils fans excited.

It's clear that young Rooney has the desire to be one of the best. The video was posted by @rhelitecoaching, and it displays the teenager being put through his paces in a one-one-one coaching session.
Upon watching the clip, there is no doubt that the promising attacker can finish, he displays accuracy, finesse, power, and many other traits. The prolific nature of his goals is there for all to see.
After seeing the video, United fans flooded to the comment section in awe of Rooney's son.
One fan wrote: 'You can tell he has something special we need to keep him and develop him right.'
It seems some supporters want to see him in the senior set up as soon as possible
An X (formerly Twitter) user said: 'Promote him to the first team already.'
Kai signed for United's academy in December 2020 with famous father Wayne by his side
Another fan boldly predicted: 'I'd say he'll be in the senior squad within 2 to 3 years... hopefully sooner to partner up with Hojlund.'
However, not all fans want to hurry young Rooney's progress, one user wants to make sure people don't expect to much of him.
They posted: 'Future United first team star like his father. Let's not put too much pressure on the lad though.'
If the numbers are anything to go by though, the teen sensation will become a star in his own right.
The youngster is more than just a goalscorer. After signing for United's youth set up, Kai notched up an impressive 28 assists in his first full season with the under-12s, while playing alongside the son of Cristiano Ronaldo.
If he continues on the path he is on, Kai will be stepping onto the Old Trafford turf one day, just like his father did between 2004 and 2017.
