Democrats at a raucous Atlanta watch party weren't just unphased by President Joe Biden's rocky performance - they told DailyMail.com they loved it.

'I think Biden did a really good job. He came out. He was very clear as to what his message was. And he proved that he's not too old for the job,' said Kenneth Royal, a 42-year-old running for county commissioner in Dekalb County.

The party boasted an open bar - a food spread with tacos, chicken tenders and pie - and an energetic deejay, who blasted top tunes from a table adorned with a giant pair of aviator sunglasses, after the 90-minute showdown wrapped.

Attendees cheered for Biden and booed former President Donald Trump during the concluding minutes of the face-off and then gleefully joined first lady Jill Biden in calling the Republican a liar.

'What did Trump do?' she asked, walking onstage alongside the president in a planned post-debate appearance at a downtown Hyatt.

    'Lied!' the crowd yelled back.

The 81-year-old president took the microphone and said he was going to quote a movie - and then suggested Trump was a 'lying, dog-faced pony soldier.'

Democrats who attended a raucous Atlanta watch party gushed over President Joe Biden's debate performance despite it sending other party members spiraling

First lady Jill Biden led the crowd in a cheer calling former President Donald Trump a liar

'What's going to happen over the next couple days is they're going to be out there fact-checking all the things he said.'

'I can't think of one thing he said that was true,' the president added to cheers.

Biden supporters agreed with the president's take.

'I just think he said a lot of nonsense and he didn't really stay on topic,' 28-year-old Emory employee Alexandra Young said of Trump. 'None of the questions were really answered.'

Young was the one Biden supporter DailyMail.com interviewed who was worried that his performance may have hampered his message.

'I worry that it didn't make him look that good,' Young said. 'When Trump speaks he doesn't make any sense but he says it with a lot of confidence and power so people mistake that as truth and intelligence.'

She then pointed to Biden, explaining that 'when you have someone who does know what they're talking about' but the delivery isn't as good 'it gets kind of lost in the shuffle.'

Maya Eatmon, a 46-year-old from Atlanta, also said she believed Biden did 'really well.'

'I think he stayed composed and I think he really got President Trump when he called him a felon,' the healthcare tech observed.

Eatmon shrugged off Biden's coughing and shaky delivery - which has caused other Democrats to panic

'I just think it was probably the Georgia weather,' she said. 'I think it was nothing more than the weather.'

'Depending on when you travel a lot - and you get to a different climate. I think it was just the climate. He needed some water,' she added.

The president continued to put on a happy face as he and Dr. Biden made a surprise stop at an Atlanta Waffle House after the debate watch party.

'I think we did well,' he told reporters.

Biden shrugged off emerging calls for him to drop out.

'No. It's hard to debate a liar,' the president said. 'The New York Times pointed out he lied 26 times.'

He was also asked if he was sick.

'I have a sore throat,' Biden said.
