West Ham's Mohammed Kudus has earned high praise from social media users following his sterling first-half performance against Wolves on Sunday.

Kudus was able to score twice, in the 22nd and 32nd minutes, to give the hosts a comfortable cushion - the earliest brace ever scored in a Premier League game at the London Stadium, according to Opta

There were question marks over whether Kudus would work at the Hammers, following the Ghanaian's £38m summer move from Dutch club Ajax, but his performances appear to show that he has been a canny signing for the Hammers.

One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): 'Mohammed Kudus balling for West Ham. Still think it was a bad decision to go there?'

Another added: 'It’s becoming Mohammed Kudus’ team now. What a strike to give the West Ham the lead against Wolves', while a third noted: 'Kudus is incredible man, always shows up for West Ham.'
