Customers are being encouraged to double check the varying trading hours for supermarkets and other retail vendors across the King's Birthday long weekend.
The June 10 public holiday is celebrated in NSW, ACT, Victoria and South Australia on Monday.
Western Australia and Queensland choose to mark the King's birthday in October and September.
Here's what's open for the major chains on Monday:
The King's Birthday falls on June 10 and many stores will have altered operating hours on the day
Woolies will be open everywhere on the long weekend except for South Australia
Woolworths
All stores will be open in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania.
In South Australia, all stores will be closed on Monday.
Westfield
All centres in Victoria will trade from 10am to 5pm on Monday, while all centres in the ACT will trade from 10am to 4pm.
In South Australia, all Westfield centres will be closed.
In NSW there will be varying opening trading hours across the state:
- Westfield Kotara will trade from 10am to 4pm;
- Westfield Tuggerah, Eastgardens, Hornsby, Liverpool, Mt Druitt, Penrith and Warringah Mall will trade from 10am to 5pm;
- Westfield Bondi Junction, Burwood, Chatswood, Hurstville, Miranda and Parramatta will trade from 10am to 6pm;
- Westfield Sydney and Sydney Central Plaza will trade from 10am to 7pm.
Coles
All stores will be open under normal trading hours in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
All stores will be closed in South Australia except Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Berri, Port Augusta, Mount Barker, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Mount Gambier and Victor Harbor.

Aldi
Store trading hours will vary across the June long weekend.
Customers are advised to visit the Aldi store locator for individual trading hours for their area.
Bunnings
Bunning stores in every state and territory will be open on Monday.
However, reduced trading hours will apply in the states celebrating the King's Birthday.
Bunnings will remain open on Monday albeit with reduced trading hours
BIG W
All stores will be open in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania.
Stores will be closed in South Australia except Victor Harbor, Port Augusta, Renmark, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier.
Target and Kmart
Stores in all states and territories will be open with reduced trading hours, except for some locations in South Australia.
South Australian stores in Firle, Tea Tree, Munno Para, Ingle Farm, Kurralta Park, West Lakes, Port Noarlunga, Marlon and Churchill will be closed.
Dan Murphy's
Most Dan Murphy's stores will open at 10am and close between 6pm and 7pm.
All Big W stores will be open aside from a select few in SA on Monday
BWS
BWS stores will open at either 9am and 10am and close between 6pm and 7pm in every state and territory.
Liquorland
Stores across South Australia will be closed, as will select NSW locations.
IKEA
Some IKEA locations will close for the King's Birthday on Monday, including both the Logan and North Lakes stores.
In NSW the Belrose store will open at 10am and close at 5pm, while Marsden Park and Rhodes will be open from 10am to 7pm on Monday.
Tempe will be open from 10am to 9pm.
In Melbourne, the Richmond and Springvale stores will be open from 10am to 9pm, and the Highpoint store will be open from 10am to 6pm.
Adelaide's IKEA will be open from 9am to 5pm and Canberra's will be open from 10am to 6pm.
Perth's IKEA is open between 9am and 6pm and Cannington's will open from 9am to 5.30pm.
Officeworks
Locations in QLD and WA will be open as usual while Stores in NSW, the ACT and Victoria will be open between 9am and 6pm on Monday.
Stores in the NT will be open between 9am and 5pm and once more stores in SA will be closed for the day.
