We are just a week out from the opening game of the Euro 2024 and the final preparations are being put in place by all 24 teams heading to Germany this summer.

Most managers heading to the tournament have only one more task left to do before they board the flight to Germany, and it may be their most daunting.

Gareth Southgate amongst many other managers must select a 26-man squad list which he will take to Germany to try and claim European glory.

Southgate and his management need to cut seven players from their initial 33-man shortlist and it seems like the England boss may not even wait until the deadline to name who he has given the axe to.

It has already been revealed that midfielders James Maddison and Curtis Jones will not be named in England's final Euro 2024 squad come Friday night.

So when will the Euro 2024 squads be announced? Here is everything you need to know.
