Shocking footage has revealed the moment a car barrelled through a group of wedding attendees on Hatherleigh Road, in North Adelaide's Parafield Gardens, on Saturday night
The footage shows the car reversing aggressively towards the crowd but stopping just metres away, as people appear to get in before it drove down the road.
It then suddenly stops, aggressively reversing again and barreling over one man and continuing to hit the rest of the crowd before taking off down the street.
One neighbour who had lived on the street since 1975, John McGrath, said the incident is 'not normal', unable to recount the last party on the street.
He told Adelaide Now that he had heard fireworks at about 8:30pm but thought the affair was just a Saturday party until police lined the street.
Another local, Paul Lubcke, told the publication that he had heard a scream at about 10pm before seeing police arrived.
The group of people spilled out onto the road during a physical altercation at the backyard wedding, with the incident leaving a teenage girl in hospital and two others injured
Other residents said they had no clue a wedding was happening on the street at the time until word got out about the incident.
It is believed a couple with young children had moved into the home a few years ago, there is no indication of any wrongdoing from their part.
South Australia Police confirmed they had spoken with 'a number of people at the scene' in relation to their investigations.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
