A woman has been charged after filming herself yelling at police and security officers as they arrested a young boy in a busy shopping mall.

Police were called to the Morayfield Shopping Centre, in Queensland's Moreton Bay region, on November 10 following reports of stealing from one of the stores.

A young boy was seen trying to run out of the shopping centre as two security officers attempted to block him from leaving.

Another female shopper, who filmed the incident unfold, is then heard shouting at the security guards.

'Stop touching him!' she is heard calling out, as the young boy tries to dodge the security guards.

'You cannot restrain him physically, let him go. That's actual assault.'

The woman then tells another female security officer that she is not displaying her badge number which she says is 'against the legislation'.

The boy is meanwhile heard swearing at police and shouting out 'I haven't stolen anything', as an officer holds him by the arm.

The woman filming is then warned by the female security guard that she is obstructing police and will be arrested as well.

The police officer then confronts her and says he did not give consent to being filmed.

'You don't intimidate me,' the woman claps back.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed a juvenile had been dealt with in accordance to the Youth Justice Act.

'In addition, a 45-year-old woman from Labrador was issued a Notice to Appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court, charged with Trespass, Obstruct Police, and Contravene direction or requirement of a police officer,' they said.

The woman has since continued her bizarre rant on TikTok, claiming she saw security officers 'assaulting' the boy, which is why she began filming, and that he 'did nothing wrong'.

She also claimed she has made complaints about the security and police officers' handling of the incident.

The 45-year-old said that because she knew the law, she was going to get a 'huge payout'.

'You literally have no understanding. My last payout was 30k for a cop not knowing the law. Tax payer funded,' she responded to another TikTokker's comment.

The woman also shared a response from the security company at the shopping centre who are conducting an internal investigation into the matter.

The security company said their staff member was under no obligation to produce her licence as she was involved in an incident with another person at the time.

'Notwithstanding, your request at the time was not appropriate as she was focussing on the security incident that was occurring at the time,' they said.
