Dramatic footage shows how police Tasered the culprit, leaving him motionless on the floor, and then threatened to Taser the man they had been trying to detain - who eventually gave in and dropped to his knees with his hands in the air.
The incident is thought to have happened at a bar and snacks area of the arena before footage was uploaded to X. MailOnline has contacted Greater Manchester Police for comment.

Police appeared to be trying to arrest a man when the drama unfolded
Crowds gathered in shock as the drama unfolded, with those who watched the video saying they could not believe what police had to deal with.
In the year ending March 2022 there were just over 41,000 assaults on police officers in England and Wales, including British Transport Police officers, showing the true extent of the problem. During the same period there were 1,498 assaults on officers in the Greater Manchester Police area.
Some said the video, which has 2.5million views on X, shows exactly why officers need to carry Tasers and that police have an 'impossible job'.
Others said anyone who attacks an officer should receive an immediate custodial sentence.
'Prison only place for him,' one said, while another wrote: 'It should be but there seems to be lack of judges with a backbone.'

'Gonna be a long prison sentence for the punt on the officer,' another said, to which one replied: 'Good no more than the t*** deserves!'
But one added: 'Lucky if he even sees a courtroom, the courts don't see assaults on the police as a crime.'
'I never knew the UK is so lawless,' another commented.
'Sad to see police in UK take so much risk,' another chipped in.
And one said: 'People have zero respect for police now.'
Another said he believed officers should be better protected, saying: 'British Police need to be armed with more than Tasers.'
An ex-police officer said he was glad he had retired, as one wrote: 'Top police work by the officers. Straight Taser activation after the kick without hesitation. I hope they get a commendation for this.'
'They need to gain the respect of the public again after all this recent palaver. I'd still jump on to help though if I thought they were struggling like any one should.'
