The Wolves Fan Advisory Board have released a statement following the news that the club have reneged on plans to increase ticket prices next season.

The club had announced a series of price increases, with some tickets up 17% and one category of U14 tickets up 176% from £105 to £290.

The plans were met with huge opposition from Wolves supporters with a petition gaining nearly 15,000 signatures in a week.

Wolves confirmed on Wednesday that the plans had been scrapped with there being a guaranteed freeze on adult season ticket prices and no price increase for under-14s.

The club wrote: 'Wolves deeply value the feedback from our supporters and the role the fan advisory board plays in representing their voices,' the club said., external
