A shocked woman was gardening when she discovered a parcel which was supposedly delivered by Yodel two years ago hidden in the weeds of her front garden.
Meg Johnson ordered the dress on Vinted in 2022 and was surprised when it never arrived.
But this weekend, the 30-year-old found the dress in tatters inside its plastic delivery bag among her flowerbeds whilst she was carrying out some weeding.
Meg, of Tonyrefail, Wales, spent £10 on the item of clothing and was told by the courier company that it had been marked as delivered.
But two years later, the dress has now been found in a 'pretty gross' state at the bottom of her garden, with the majority of it being decomposed by bugs and covered in slime.

Meg explained in a Facebook post: 'Just over two years ago, I ordered myself a dress from Vinted.
'I paid £10 including postage, and despite the seller sending it, it never arrived.
'I contacted Vinted who told me that it was to do with Yodel as they had been the couriers, I then contacted Yodel after much difficulty for them to tell me that it had been marked as delivered on their end, so they could do nothing about it as it was my word against theirs.
'I wasn't happy, but I let it go.'
Meg, who isn't working at the moment after recovering from heart surgery, said she was doing some 'much-needed' weeding at the bottom of her garden when she noticed what she thought was some litter.
'I came across a parcel bag (not that unusual, I have found all sorts thrown in there as it borders a public road and path).
'I pick it up and see there is something in it - upon further inspection I see it's the dress I ordered two years ago.
'The bag has been torn open where I can only assume wildlife have been at it, and the dress itself was wet, covered in soil, home to a lot of bugs, and pretty much totally decomposed.'
Meg believes the parcel was simply slung over her garden wall by the Yodel courier, becoming lost among tall plants meaning she never noticed it.
She went on: 'It wasn't even anywhere near the garden gate, and because the bed is raised you can see the greenery from the other side of the wall so whoever it was must have at least seen it would likely be hidden.
'I'm so disappointed with this service and would expect better from such a large and well known company, it's terrible that they employ such careless people.'

Meg tipped the dress out onto the floor, with very little left but mud and slime
A video shows Meg tipping the dress out onto the floor, with very little left but mud and slime, while a bug crawls out as the garment is emptied onto the floor.
A number of Meg's shocked friends commented on the post, with one saying: 'Jesus Christ it's started its own ecosystem.'
Meg replied: 'Don't - it was slimy, I had to come in after that i felt so sick.'
Another said: 'Shared. This is heinous.', while a third joked: 'I dare you to bung it in the wash and see how it turns out.'
One of the friends commented: 'Absolutely shocking Meg, I have seen first hand the delivery drivers just chuck your parcels over your wall, just too lazy to open the gate and walk up your path to the door.
'The day I was there they threw over something that was breakable. Really awful but finding that dress after two years is just crazy.'
A Yodel spokesperson said: 'The safe delivery of parcels is our number one priority, and we are sorry that Ms Johnston's experience did not meet the high standards we strive for.
'We would encourage anyone expecting a delivery to share a safe space exclusively via our app where we have also introduced access to proof of delivery images.'
