WWE were forced to mute a portion of the WrestleMania 40 broadcast after the Rock directed his latest foul-mouthed outburst at a referee.
The Hollywood star, competing in his first real match in 11 years, teamed up with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event on night one.
The bout was a star-studded matchup that, after a fairly pedestrian start, produced the excitement and drama many fans had hoped for.
Aside from its thrilling conclusion, it was The Rock's conduct that garnered attention as he lased out at official Chad Patton during proceedings.
The Rock could be seen ordering the referee not to count anyone out or he would be fired. 'I'm not f***ing around,' he continued.

Earlier this month, The Rock hit back at a report that claimed that some within the organisation were unhappy with his profanity-laden promos.
Wrestling outlet SEScoops.com reported that a memo had been sent to WWE stars informing them of their responsibility to adhere to PG guidelines on TV and social media.
It continued to say that some in the organisation felt that the fact the returning star did not have to abide by the same instructions was a double standard.
In response he wrote on on Instagram: 'You sound like somebody The Rock can love - drunk and horny.
'Networks and “standards & practices” have issues with my language, but I’d rather be real than not. I talk from the heart, shoot from the hip and try to always have fun. Enjoy the Rock concert ~ Final Boss'.
