Aaron Judge's personal hitting coach slammed the New York Yankees' player development as the team tries to dig themselves out of a slump.
The Bronx Bombers were at risk of getting swept in a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday when coach Richard Schenck took a jab at the organization his biggest client plays for.
During the game at Yankee Stadium, YES Network posted a screenshot of Judge on the plate with a quote from former Yankees announcer Michael Kay, writing: 'He hits. They win. That's it.'
Schenck then gave the Yankees a reality check in the comments. Bluntly stating: 'They've lost 13 out of 18 while he's hitting like an MVP. The Yankees offensive player development is terrible.'
The Yankees went on to lose the game, 8-4, and have now failed to win 14 of their last 19 contests.

Nevertheless, the American League single-season home run record holder and a six-time All-Star, has been putting up MVP-caliber numbers so far this season.
Judge, who joined the Yankees in 2016, has been slashing a .318/.438/.711 with a league-best 1.149 OPS.
Unfortunately, while Judge has been on a historical run, the Yankees has seen dreadful slumps from stars Alex Verdugo, Anthony Volpe, DJ LeMahieu and a handful of their offense - leading to their unpleasant results as of late.
The Yankees lost their previous two games to Cincinnati, 3-2 and 5-4. They were also handed losses by the Red Sox, Braves, Mets, and Blue Jays before the sweep.

The team finished last season with an 82-80 record behind a 99-63 season in 2022.
The Yankees appeared in the ALCS in 2022 and got swept by the Astros on their way to the World Series title. They then missed the playoffs last year as Texas cruised through the American League to win the World Series.
