Boxing legend Mike Tyson had a hilarious response when asked about Tommy Fury and Molly Mae Hague's breakup.

Earlier this month, the couple shared the bombshell news of their split after months of speculation.

In the buildup to his fight with Jake Paul, Tyson appeared on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast - where he was asked for his thoughts on the Love Island couple parting ways.

'Who the f*** is Molly,' Tyson exclaimed once Paul and co-host Mike Majlak clarified the confused knockout artist.

'I'm thinking about getting high,' he continued as laughter erupted on the set. 'I'm in the drug phase of my life.'

The Love Island couple confirmed their breakup this week after dating for five years

When the question was first brought up - Iron Mike mistook it as Tyson Fury struggling with MDMA.

'I look at Molly - that's a narcotic,' Tyson said before Majlak explained the magnitude of the breakup to the couple's fanbase. However, Tyson continued to go down the path of the lineal heavyweight champ spiraling with drug use.

'No one knows the pain of the heavyweight champion when he's alone. I saw him falling on the street,' Tyson continued. 'We beat ourselves up, we torment ourselves.'

Paul and Majlak went on to stop Tyson and let him know what they were talking about - as he got it confused. As a result, Tyson jokingly appeared aggravated by the misunderstanding.

Tyson will face Jake Paul in Netflix's first live boxing event on November 15 in Arlington, Texas

'They met on Love Island, they were together for five years, had a kid,' Paul said.

'Are you serious? Stop f****** with me, man,' Tyson exclaimed.

'No, it's sad, we're all very sad,' Paul said sarcastically.

Tyson and Jake were scheduled to fight in July before the former heavyweight champion was forced to withdraw from the contest with major health issues.

The bout has since been rescheduled for November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The card will be streamed globally on Netflix as the first live boxing event on the platform.
