Noah Presgrove's family raise $10,000 to hire private investigator to solve his mystery death just days after spending his 20th birthday at his gravesite

The family of the teenager found dead on the side of an Oakland highway are raising money to hire a private investigator as they mourn his death on his birthday. 

Noah Presgrove, 19, was wearing only two mismatched shoes when his body was discovered on a desolate stretch of US-81 near Terral, Oklahoma, on September 4. 

He was last seen alive about a mile away at a four-day 22nd birthday party with friends over the Labor Day weekend that was heavily documented on social media. 

After his full autopsy report was released yesterday, brother Dailen Presgrove has launched a GoFundMe page to hire a private investigator to solve his young brother's mysterious death. 

The crowdfunding page is meant to help the family hire a detective with law enforcement background and experience in order to get a 'new set of eyes' on the case. 

'This fundraiser is for raising funds to hire a Private Investigator who will be able to solve the case involving the death of Noah Presgrove. Private Investigators are very expensive,' he explained. 

'Between the many of us who have been eagerly working the case over the last eight months we have tremendous hours put into the case already. 

'We are seeking new eyes on the case and preferably someone with law enforcement background and experience in this genre.' 

The GoFundMe has exceeded its goal by raising $10,322 after receiving an anonymous donation of $5000. 

Dailen has also launched another GoFundMe of an astonishing $10,000 to encourage anyone 'withholding information of the case to come forth'. 

'Noah Presgrove passed away eight months ago. Yet, the case goes unsolved. 

'To prevent this case from going cold, this fundraiser is meant to encourage those withholding information of the case to come forth. 

'If anyone has information regarding the case that will lead to an arrest of anyone held accountable, please contact the family to redeem this reward and ultimately end this ongoing investigation. 

'Your identity with remain hidden from the public. We will get you in contact with the right people who want justice.' 

The fundraiser has brought in $2,395 at time of publishing. 

Efforts to fund furthering the investigation come just days after his loved ones spent his 20th birthday at his grave site. 

Images showed a cutout of Noah placed in the ground next to balloons while a 'Happy Birthday' sign fixed into the ground. 

Yesterday, the Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Leonardo Roquero finally released the full autopsy report, more than eight months later. 

Roquero confirmed Presgrove died of 'multiple blunt force injuries', but how he got them was 'undetermined'. 

The report gave more details on the grisly injuries the teen sustained in the hours before he died. 

Roquero detailed extensive injuries to the teen's upper body, including 10 broken ribs, serious skull and neck fractures, internal bleeding, and abrasions all over his body. 

There was one extensive skull fracture running across his head, 'splitting the middle base of skull into two', and multiple smaller ones, with police investigators describing his head as being 'caved in', among further varying lacerations. 

Presgrove had about 20ml of blood pooled inside his head from a brain bleed, and damage to the brain itself.

A video from the Saturday night of the party, on September 2, showed Presgrove's friends drawing their names and other doodles on his body. 

He went home and washed some of it off, but is believed to not have been able to get all of the marker off before he went back to the party the next evening.

An Adidas shoe Presgrove was wearing was his, and the other, a 'Hey Dude' slip-on, was from another party guest who was asleep at the time.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol detectives, who are leading the investigation, are still unsure how he died, and were told conflicting stories about that night. 

Theories include him being 'forcibly pushed from the bed of a moving truck' where the blood spot was, and staggering along the road before collapsing.

Presgrove could also have been killed in an accident or murdered elsewhere and his body dumped on the highway.
